Reports to : Project Manager
Requirements and qualifications: Degree qualified or equivalent experience In Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 15 Years in Mechanical equipment maintenance with unit size of 120 MW . Ten years must have been in supervisory positions within a minimum of 5 years as a site engineer in Power Plants. Analytical thinking and ability for structured planning , direction of mechanical engineers, foremen and technicians.
Responsibilities: Liaising with clients, subcontracors and other professional staff , especially project manager. Setting out sites and organizing facilities. Assessing the need of spare parts. Monitoring and commissioning plant and systems. Undertake effective planning and prioritization of workload wherever necessary. Using research , analytical , conceptual and planning skills , particularly mathematical modeling and computer-aided design. Considering the implications of issues such as cost , safety and time constraints. Understand and operate in line with relevant legislation , company policy and company procedures. Ensure that resources are ysed to optimum effect. Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the company procedures. Undertake any other tasks or duties as required by your project manager. Prepares project progress report daily , weekly and monthly to the client and management with the approval from project manager. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the company. Maintain the required standards of housekeeping. Liaise with coordinator to establish requirements of material and manpower to initiate the purchasing process. Distributes daily work among site staff and monitors the day to day activities at site and report daily activities to the project manager. Overall supervision of site stores and Inventotry , Assets relating to the project. Awareness about QHSE policy and objective and general environment pollution. Awareness about environment Issue. 2-
Supervisors
Diploma holder with 14 years of relevant mechanical work and supervision experience able to write reports in English .Fully literate in interface languages to workface.
